Graduate Profile
The graduate of the Degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation:
It prevents, detects, applies methods, techniques, procedures of therapeutics and Rehabilitation, evaluates pathologies or conditions with a functional diagnosis that occur in different branches of the Health Sciences.
Apply comprehensive care to people with disabilities
Applies, adapts and contributes to the development of technology in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
Executes and controls the technical-administrative activities of the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
Executes the functional evaluation of the disabled person to accurately focus, delineate and direct the therapeutic intervention indicated by the specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Program a physical, mental and social training plan as a therapeutic means of rehabilitation for people with disabilities as well as those with other needs
Manages and applies related knowledge in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation through scientific research.
Applies the general bases of teaching, training, updating and training of human resources in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation.
Train the use of adaptive and ergonomic equipment and orthotics, prostheses and bandages.
Directs the process of scientific-technical development of Rehabilitation.
